This deer head and the binding is made with the RIGHT side of camouflage fabric; the antlers, neck, and ears, eyes and nose accents are made using the REVERSE! It's all about value.
Some quilters have used their husbands "retired" hunting clothes as their focus fabric.
PINKY Quilt Pattern
PINKY is a happy baby octopus applique design. Shown here, she's made with my own "Fishbone Dance" fabric! The octopus and binding are made using the RIGHT side; the underside of tenacles and floating bubbles are made using the REVERSE.
